Policies
Support for Local Businesses and Job Creation
I will advocate for policies that foster a supportive environment for local businesses to thrive. By creating incentives and resources, we can attract new businesses, stimulate job growth, and boost our local economy.
Sustainable Development and Environmental Conservation
As a councillor of Galway County, I will prioritize sustainable development initiatives that balance economic growth with environmental conservation. I will advocate for responsible land use, support renewable energy projects, and work to protect our natural resources for future generations.
Affordable Housing and Homelessness Prevention
I am committed to addressing the housing crisis in Galway County by promoting the construction of affordable housing units and ensuring access to safe, stable housing for all residents. I will work with local stakeholders to implement innovative solutions and prevent homelessness in our community
Improved Infrastructure and Transportation
I will push for improved infrastructure, including road maintenance and public transportation enhancements. Investing in efficient and accessible transportation options will not only ease traffic congestion but also contribute to a more sustainable and connected community.
Community Safety and Well-being
I am committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of all residents in Galway County. I will work closely with law enforcement agencies and community organizations to implement effective crime prevention strategies and support mental health services.
Youth Empowerment and Education
Recognizing that young people are the future of our community, I will champion initiatives that support education, vocational training, and extracurricular activities for our youth. Empowering our youth will lead to a stronger, more vibrant Galway County.
